Car Explosion/Fire In Fremont On Friday

On Friday, January 13th, between 10a and 11a, according to ear and eyewitnesses, a small van being lived in by up to three adults, exploded multiple times.  The vehicle was parked on N 35th Street, across the street from the Art F/X gallery.  Unfortunately, the Seattle Police Department and Seattle Fire have given no public details.

Propane and butane tanks in the vehicle blew up, along with the gas tank of the vehicle.  The explosions were spaced apart, and witnesses reported any where from three to nine different events.

The fire spread to neighboring cars, totaling one.  Witnesses reported that there were no injuries or deaths from the explosions, and the vehicle ‘residents’ fled before authorities arrived.
