Expect unleashed revelry, extraordinary performances and special events as part of the 10th Anniversary of Moisture Festival, coming to Fremont (and other venues,) starting March 21st. The 10th year of Moisture will take the stage at Hale’s Palladium, Broadway Performance Hall, and the SIFF Cinema at The Uptown – plus a special, private performance at the Veterans Hospital for patients and staff!
The vaudeville and burlesque performances of Moisture Festival will take place between March 21st – April 14th, with tickets available through Brown Paper Tickets. Consider attending a benefit show at Hale’s Palladium, with proceeds from ticket sales to both of these matinee performances going to:
- On March 23rd, at 3p, for Hands for a Bridge
- On March 24th, at 3p, for Phinney Neighborhood Association
Other special events in the 10th Year Of Moisture Festival include a March 25th special instructive performance and lecture on ‘Burlesque Undressed: The Stories Behind the Glitter,’ featuring several stars of the shows, today and in decades past. On April 1st, enjoy a special lecture – and honored speaker – as Dr. Patch Adams talks on ‘Humor & Health,’ and 30+ years of clowning and healing.
Also, in late March, Moisture Festival performers will stage a special private show for residents and staff at the Veteran’s Administrations Puget Sound Health Care Facility.
Finally, on April 13th, take part in a marathon called ‘Continuous Moisture – A Varietè Downpour’ as the producers and performers offer five back-to-back varietè shows in one day. Buy a ‘Continuous Moisture’ pass, and attend all five shows with preferred seating, a souvenir keepsake and eternal bragging rights!
