On Friday, September 4th, the Down Under Gallery will host an Artist’s Reception for abstract photographer Judith Rayl, in the garden surrounding the Gallery – during the Fremont First Friday Art Walk.
The Artist’s Reception for Judith Rayl will take place from 6p – 9p, with the artist on-hand to answer questions and share her inspirations for her raw, single-shot evocative photos. These images capture the balance between ecology and urban life, with a fresh, evanescence that embraces the impermanence of each moment.
Come enjoy the art, in the clean and spacious Gallery, and talk with the artist in the safety of the garden. All attendees are required, following State mandate, to wear face coverings and keep socially distant. We hope you will join us for this opportunity for art and inspiration.
Before the Artist’s Reception, at 5p, those who have questions about Fremont, or concerns, are welcome to drop-in to talk with Fremocentrist’s head Icon-ologist and Instigator, Kirby Laney. If you have wondered about some aspect of Fremont, past or present, or just have a request, Fremocentrist’s staff will attempt to either answer – or direct you to a resolution.
Please feel free to visit the Down Under Gallery, from Noon – 9p, on Friday, September 4th, to see the art, and/or ask questions. To meet Judith Rayl, though, stop in from 6p – 9p, and to get a few snacks and beverages, and enjoy this First Friday in Fremont with ART!
