On Saturday, April 27th, the Eco Collective has organized an Earth Day Clean-Up of the Burke-Gilman Trail, from Fremont to Ballard. Come make our trail and waterways cleaner, starting at Gas Works Park at 10a.
Those who bike, and walk, the Burke-Gilman Trail everyday see trash – litter, debris, and damage – and they want to make a difference in honor of Earth Day 2019. Come start with the clean-up in the Gas Works parking lot, at the entrance to Kite Hill, and walk with others along the trail, collecting garbage, using the buckets and picker-uppers provided.
Bring your own gloves, a snack and water bottle. The clean-up will go until Noon, and end at the Eco Collective store in Ballard (5201 Ballard Ave NW).
Be inspired, and inspire others, with this opportunity for making positive change. This month is all about improving our environment, and this is a chance to improve our community’s environment directly. Please join this effort, for everyone, of every age!
