On Saturday, January 17th, Grassroots Community Acupuncture in Fremont will celebrate its fifth anniversary with an offering of free acupuncture and a food and/or blanket donation drive.

Over its five years, this clinic has grown from one practioner to four, and adding NAET and herbal remedies in addition to the community acupuncture.  In 2014, the clinic gave over 5,000 acupuncture treatments.

This Saturday, folks who sign-up, in advance, can get an acupuncture treatment in exchange for a donation of food (for the Ballard Food Bank,) or a blanket or jacket that will be given to a local shelter.  Use the Grassroots on-line appointment scheduler, the temporary option, to book a time for January 17th.

Those who just want to stop by, say hello, and wish Grassroots well – and bring some food or blankets to donate – are also welcome to do so, and do not need an appointment.  Community acupuncture is about building community, taking care of each other, and providing services in ways affordable and accessible.  Help celebrate these goals with Grassroots this Saturday!
