Celebrate The First of May With The Fremont Arts Council

On Tuesday, May 1st, at 5p, the Fremont Arts Council will hold its annual May Day celebration to the Spring.  This family-friendly, all-ages party will take place in the Woodland Park Picnic Shelter #6, off Whitman Ave N & N 63rd St (next to the horseshoe courts.)

This potluck picnic will include a May Pole, with dancing and ribbon weaving, plus games for the kids.  Wear your white clothes, bring a dish to share and crown yourself in flowers.  Winter has passed and it’s time to choose a Green Man and May Queen.

Volunteers to help with this low-effort event are still needed.  Everyone is expected to pack out any and all materials and trash, but a few people will need to lead the party.  Volunteer to make the magic happen at events@fremontartscouncil.org, and find out more about May Day on the Fremont Arts Council website (click here.)
