Chevalier ‘Fremont’ Pieces Now At History House

'Fremont By Night' by Jack Chevalier, 1987, hanging in History House in June 2010

Two pieces by Jack Chevalier created in 1987 – ‘Fremont By Day’ and ‘Fremont By Night’ – that once hung in the lobby of the Burke Building, in Fremont, as part of the Quadrant Collection, have relocated to History House of Greater Seattle (790 N 34th).

The works hang prominently on the wall of the community conference room, to stand sentinel over the monthly meetings of the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Chamber Board of Directors.  They are also accessible for viewing by visitors to the neighborhood museum during operating hours.
