On Saturday, February 27th, from 3p – 5p, at the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library, newly elected Seattle Board Member Rick Burke will be on-hand to talk about our schools.

Burke represents District II, which includes Fremont and our B.F. Day Elementary School.  This will be a great time to hear what he envisions for the schools in our district, and to share with him what we need here.

In a recent Fremocentrist.com column, B.F. Day PTSA President Steve Albertson shared concerns about the boundaries for children attending our school.  Read the column, and take this opportunity to talk to Board Member Burke about enrollment at B.F. Day.

Even if just for a few minutes, grab this chance to contribute to the on-going conversation about educating our children, and our future generation.
