Discount Tickets Available For ‘The Young Man From Atlanta’

Opening night fast approaches for the Stone Soup Theatre production of the Pulitzer prize winning play, ‘The Young Man From Atlanta,’ by Horton Foote.  The show will run through March 10th, but get tickets early to be sure to get a seat.

Illness convinced Maureen Miko to bow out of the cast, but her early decision has allowed her understudy plenty of time to prepare.  Rehearsals have been studded with a few challenges, but a strong cast and tight production crew have persevered.

Grab this opportunity to see a work by ‘America’s Chekhov,’ as playwright Foote has been described, about the crumble of one American dream, and the building towards an uncertain future.  Audiences may see parallels to the current American reality in this period piece.
