There may be plenty to do Friday evening, but march first to the Fremont First Friday Art Walk – this March 1st (sorry, couldn’t resist the pun…) from 6p – 9p.

For those looking for a hard march, Fremont has a variety of small venues scattered all over the ‘hood.  Check out:

For those who find marching in place more satisfying, two venues have multiple small art shows within.  Check out:

  • The SPACE Building, at 600 N 36th St, with Angie Hinh (on the 2nd floor,) showing black & white film photography, Anette Lusher (3rd floor,) and Bill Mathews (4th floor,) displaying his bold, colorful paintings.
  • The Saturn Building, at 3417 Evanston Ave N, will have notable funk musicians, a small crafts sale, and snacks/beverage.  In the halls, they will have Lauren Aldrich showing paintings using oils, mixed media and found/recycled materials (on the 1st & 2nd floors,) the acrylics of Bryan Ubaghs (3rd floor,) paintings of Seattle locations by Matt Bazemore (4th floor,) and the geometric designs in wood by Jaclyn Miller (5th floor.)  And, inside Spa Ginger, see the photos of Ryan Castoldi from the Washington wine region.

The Fremont Art Walk has plenty to see, and study, with plenty of venues to view.  Come marching to the Center of the Universe to see the art, and enjoy the time exploring with other art lovers!

Check the FFF website for last minute changes and additions, and a map of all the participating venues.
