Community Potluck to Benefit Family Support At B.F. Day

This Saturday, April 7th, from 6p – 10p, the second Community Potluck & Dance at Doric Lodge #92 will take place.

Everyone is invited to this entirely free, family friendly potluck meal.  The Masons will provide utensils and some beverages, so bring an entrée, maybe a salad and/or a dessert to share – and find some friends to join the gathering.

Also, bring along a non-perishable food donation to give to either FamilyWorks (Fremont’s food bank,) or the B.F. Day Elementary School Family Support Program.

The first Community Potluck & Dance, held in January, drew in approximately 50 people, and over 300 lbs. of food was donated.  “It wasn’t too bad for a first one,” remarked Charles Hadrann, a member of Doric Lodge #92 and one of the event’s organizers.  Another is planned for the first Saturday in July, 2012.

Come support our school, our food bank – and our community!  Enjoy a meal and some live music, for a night of fellowship in Fremont.
