On Thursday, September 29th, at 6p, in the Nordic Heritage Museum in Ballard, Seattle City Councilmember, and representative for Council District #6, Mike O’Brien invites everyone to attend a public forum on Health & Public Safety.
Community members can discuss how the City of Seattle can implement solutions to public health and safety concerns in light of the budget process. This follows on to a public forum on ‘Safe & Healthy Communities’ last July. Read about O’Brien’s conclusions based on that forum on his blog.
The solutions suggested and petitioned for in July have costs that must be considered in light of a city budget discussion. At this forum, small work groups will be formed to provide feedback and additional ideas on this issue, and funding solutions.
Find more details about this forum, and why you want to attend, on the Facebook event page. Share your opinions and suggestions with Councilmember O’Brien, representative for Ballard and West Fremont.
