On Saturday, October 21st, from 6p – 9p, dancers (and enthusiasts of all shapes and sizes) will gather at Hale’s Palladium for Dance Your Cash Off, a peer-to-peer fundraiser benefiting The Greater Seattle Bureau Of Fearless Ideas.
These teams of dancers need donors to support their efforts – and the kids that use the Bureau of Fearless Ideas (BFI) need our help! Money raised goes to fund tutoring and writing programs for students at Yesler Terrace and the Greenwood classroom. Donations can be made to teams, or in support of the work of BFI in general, through the Dance Your Cash Off website.
This raucous, prize-filled, inhibition-releasing fundraiser allows participants to party like a rock star, while raising money for a very important cause. For more than 13 years, BFI has offered free tutoring in the Greenwood neighborhood, but they want to launch the new satellite center in Yesler Terrace. What better way to get the new site off to a great start than with an epic dance off at Hale’s Palladium.
Find out more about BFI, and the programs for youthful humans ages 6 – 18, on the BFI website. Find out more about Dance Your Cash Off, and how you can still get involved, on the official DYCO website!
