Dancing & Art Showcased Safely With The Fremont Fringe Next Friday

This free art installation returns to Fremont storefronts for the safe, socially distanced delight of all ages!

On the first Friday in February, VAM Studios will be bringing the dancers back to the Center of the Universe with the Fremont Fringe.  The Down Under Gallery will be offering sheltered space for those strolling the sights, and art on display, all afternoon and evening.

The Fremont Fringe, on Feb 5th from 6p – 8p, is a free event, offering performances and art installations in several storefronts around the neighborhood, including at:

These sites will have art and artists performing and displaying their creativity – behind glass, providing complete COVID safety to everyone.  Viewers are asked to mask and keep safe social distance from one another, and move freely from one ‘show’ to another, to keep everyone healthy and engaged by the art!

With the re-openings going on as King County moves into Phase 2 of Governor Inslee’s COVID protections, more and more of Fremont’s great restaurants and bars will be open on February 5th.  Wandering around Fremont, before or after enjoying a delicious meal or a tasty drink, to witness the Fremont Fringe is a fabulous way to spend a Friday!

Another option is stopping by the Down Under Gallery on Friday, Feb 5th, between 2p – 9p, which will be holding an Open House, inside the Gallery and under the canopy on the surrounding yard.

Stop by the Gallery anytime, before, during, or after the Fremont Fringe!

The Gallery will have warm drinks and a few snacks, for those needing sustenance and sustaining in between viewings of the Fremont Fringe.  The Gallery will also have art on display, featuring the photographic show ‘West – East’ by Adrian Laney amidst pieces by other local artists.

The Fremont Fringe is an amazing opportunity, for local dancers and other performance artists, many of whom haven’t been able to exhibit their talents since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Enjoy this unique opportunity to see these movement artists, for free, in storefronts and shop windows on Friday, February 5thFind out more on the VAM Studios Facebook page (click here.)
