On Monday, January 26th, at 6:30p, at University Heights Community Center, the City of Seattle will host a Design Review Guidance meeting on a residential and retail development proposed for 3627 Stone Way N. This proposed project is a four-story structure containing 124 residential units above 7,400 sq. ft. of retail space at ground level and parking for 120 vehicles below grade. The plan also includes 18,100 cu. yds. of grading.
This meeting will give the public an opportunity to give input on this project, after hearing details of the design. Comments will be taken regarding site planning and design issues, and then the Design Review Board will offer their recommendations to the City Department of Planning & Development. Please note – comments are limited to design considerations, and do not include the overall viability of this project or parking complaints.
Although the Fremont Neighborhood Council has made numerous requests to the city, this presentation will take place at the same time as their regularly scheduled monthly meeting. Those who cannot attend this presentation on the design for 3627 Stone Way N can submit their comments to be added to the record at PRC@seattle.gov or 206/684-8467 or write to City of Seattle DPD PRC, 700 – 5th Ave, #2000, P.O. Box 34019, Seattle, WA 98124-4019.
