Seattle City Council candidate Kate Martin will hold a gathering on Saturday, February 2nd, from 4p – 8p, for ‘Vouch for Kate’. This campaign social open house will give potential supporters a chance to sign and give to make Martin’s campaign eligible for Democracy Vouchers.
At 412 NW 73rd, in Ballard, learn about Martin’s campaign for the District #6 seat on the Seattle City Council – the seat currently occupied by Mike O’Brien. Martin welcomes those who want to stay and socialize, or just stop by, to hear her speak – or bend her ear to share ideas and suggestions.
Ultimately, Martin needs to gather 150 signatures plus 150 contributions (of any size between $10 and $250) to qualify for Democracy Vouchers. Half of the signatures and contributions must come from voters registered in District #6 (click here for locations,) so she hopes to welcome voters from near and far. Anyone who wants to learn about this candidate for the upcoming Seattle City Council election.
For more information, visit the official campaign website – putkateonthecouncil.org. For those unable to attend the gathering, the website does include a Contribution App for those wanting to support the campaign – to help Martin gain the District #6 seat.
