On Wednesday, August 16th, from 5p – 7p, Seattle City Councilmember Rob Johnson will be hosting a Public Safety Open House specifically focused on Council District #4. At the Gas Works Park picnic area, attendees can hear from, and ask questions of, experts in the field of homelessness and crime prevention.
Having heard from constituents about public safety concerns, the Councilmember has organized this opportunity for meeting between agency representatives and the general public. Drop-in to talk to:
- Chief O’Donnell of the Seattle Police North Precinct
- Chief Scoggins of the Seattle Fire Department
- City Attorney Pete Holmes
- George Scarola, City of Seattle Director of Homelessness
- Mary Amberg, SPD North Precinct Crime Prevention Coordinator
- Marcus Johnson, U-District Partnership’s Director of the Clean & Safe Program
Learn about resources and share your concerns with these City officials on August 16th. Light refreshments will be provided, and the kiddos are more than welcome to join. E-mail Geri Morris, in Councilmember Johnson’s office, at geri.morris@seattle.gov, with any questions about this event, or to RSVP your attendance!
