The Rotary Club of Fremont is holding a donation drive for items to be sent to U.S. Military troops serving in Syria, especially the 1-173 Infantry Battalion. A member of this battalion is a member of the Fremont Rotary and has asked for items that could help our soldiers in their service.
Specific items requested include:
- drink mixes for water
- oatmeal
- peanut butter crackers
- candies, popcorn and gum
- personal hygiene items – toothpaste, wet wipes, disposable razors, Chapstick, body wash, lotion, face wash, mouth wash, deodorant, Q-Tips, shampoo, conditioner, foot powder, etc.
These items need to be delivered to the offices of Fremont Dock Company at 3500 – 1st Ave NW, which is open 9a – 5p Monday – Friday.
For those unable to purchase these items, but who also want to help, please consider giving a financial donation. The Fremont Rotary can accept monetary donations and guarantee all funds will go toward providing necessary items for US Troops in Syria.
