Celebrate Father’s Day, in Solstice-style! This weekend, June 16th & 17th, Fremont will celebrate our community, and culture, with a party that takes over our streets!
The Fremont Street Fair offers a lot of activities to engage families, and our fathers. It’s a great way to spend a day, with the Seattle Art Car Blowout offering an opportunity to see the cars and meet the car-tists.
All day, hear music on two stages – from within the beer garden or with out – including hearing The Whole Bolivian Army performing at 12:30p.
At 2:30p, see the Seattle Seahawks Blue Thunder Drumline lead the Fremont Dog Parade – or participate. It costs only $20 (a donation to COLA,) to enter Man’s Best Friend in the parade. Finally, find gifts galore and delicious dining options at nearly 400 vendor booths along four blocks of Fremont.
Of course, for those who want to really help this party happen, the Fremont Street Fair needs extra hands to put the extra spark on this celebration. Bold Hat Productions is seeking volunteers to help as greeters, production assistants and many other roles. For 4 hours of volunteer-time receive great heaping gobs of gratitude – the Fremont Fair benefits the Fremont Chamber of Commerce and its community programs – plus two tickets to the Fremont Fair beer gardens, and a commemorative t-shirt. Sign-up to volunteer, using SignUp Genius, with the link on the Fremont Fair website.
The Fremont Street Fair is our annual opportunity to highlight the best of our community, and bring our spirit to our streets. Find out more about what is planned on the FremontFair.com website.
