Barrel Thief Whiskey & Wine Bar will welcome good friends from Seattle’s own Westland Distillery on Thursday, September 4th, from 5p – 6:30p, for a public tasting. For real enthusiasts, a special seated tasting will take place as well, from 7p – 8:30p, with a broader range of tastes, along with samples of whiskeys still not released. Both events will, of course, be 21+ only.
Taste this fabulous whiskey, from a relatively new distillery. The first Westland Whiskey came out last year, and impressed the folk at the Barrel Thief. Now Westland has released a peated and a single cask whiskey, both beautiful, deep, dark, rich whiskeys unlike anything else you’ve ever had. Westland finishes their whiskey in special casks that does amazing things for the tastes.
Enjoy tastes of five Westland whiskeys for $5 at the public tasting, any time between 5p & 6:30p at the Barrel Thief. For the limited seated tasting which includes light snacks and a souvenir Westland logo Glencairn tasting glass, purchase tickets for $20 through Brown Paper Tickets.
