On Sunday, August 27th, from 12:15p – 2:15p, learn to play the Hammered Dulcimer, with Dusty Strings’ co-founder Ray Mooers.  At Dusty Strings, this free, fun and entertaining exploration will give everyone a chance to hear, and play, this gorgeous, traditional instrument.

Mooers will give insight into the historical background of the dulcimer, as well as how the instrument is used today.  This class will give a virtual tour of the Dusty Strings’ manufacturing facility, formerly located in Fremont and now in Interbay.  Best of all, attendees will start learning some simple tunes on the Hammered Dulcimer.

RSVP on the Dusty Strings website for this free class, suitable for all ages and all levels of musicians.
