The Emmanuel Bible Church, located across the street from Woodland Park Zoo on N 50th, has opened their seasonal men’s shelter to provide a clean, warm, safe place for men to sleep at night, with a hot meal, during the cold winter months.

The shelter is staffed by experienced professionals from Union Gospel Mission.  Emmanuel is responsible for rallying community groups to provide the meals each night.  This season, volunteers from Hallows Church will serve up food on Mondays, KapKa Cooperative School has taken Tuesdays, and Mosaic Community Church will cover every-other Wednesday and Thursdays.

Volunteers are needed to help with four remaining nights in November – on Nov 17th, 24th, 25th and 30th.  If you would be available to help, please contact Emmanuel Bible Church or patricia@emmanuelphinneyridge.org

Providing a place for those struggling and seeking a better life is important for building a healthy and welcoming community.  Can you help this important mission at Emmanuel?
