Emmanuel Bible Church to Expand Little Library & Pantry Offerings

The Little Free Library at Emmanuel has a food pantry component. Photo provided by Emmanuel

Over the last year, Emmanuel Bible Church (and others) converted their Little Free Library, in front of the building at 503 N 50th St, into a free food Little Public Pantry.  The neighbors at Emmanuel are very thankful to the church members and others who regularly contributed to this donation project.  Please, keep it up!

The box has become a fixture for those in the neighborhood looking for nutrition for their body, mind and spirit.  Hundreds of people regularly interact with the space.  It has become clear that this is a great opportunity for drawing people together and providing for the needs of our community.

Now Emmanuel members dream of a major upgrade later this year – to replace the current Library with a new, more elaborate structure that could provide more space for books and food.  A section could be included for prayer requests, and for spiritual engagement.

If you would like to be a part of the construction or funding, please reach out to Emmanuel Bible Church (click here for more information,) and Pastor Bob (Dr. Bob Zurinsky.)  Emmanuel has returned to in-person worship in the Church at 10a on Sundays, and everyone is welcome!
