This Friday, July 1st, from 6p – 9p, the Fremont First Friday Art Walk returns for an evening of summer strolling and assorted art displays. Take a walk among the shops and venues of the Center of the Universe, enjoying the art and the neighbors, and meeting the artists. This month meet:
- Frida Clements at Portage Bay Goods – See new pun prints by this published local illustrator. Also see her botanicals and stormy scenes, and enjoy a few refreshments while strolling through the creative gift shop.
- Eli Wolff at Frame-Up Studios – New comic and culturally-influenced paintings and prints by this local artist will be on-display for avid collectors, as well as those looking for a new artist to love. A video game designer, Wolff has fun creating his compositions and surprising his art audiences.
- Susan Carr at Stone Way Café – Hear the percussive rhythms of Brazil, molded with jazz, blues and rock, as the Susan Carr Ensemble plays in this intimate music venue. This free concert will start at 7p, and feature varied songs from all over, delivered with quality and winning staging.
