On Sunday, September 22nd, there are two great reasons to be in Fremont! In addition to the 21+ Fremont Dog-toberfest, all ages (and breeds) can quench their palate at the Fremont Sunday Market Bi-Annual Ice Cream Social Pop-Up!
Get one last lick of summer curbside by exploring the deliciousness of dairy (and non-dairy) done as an iced dessert. Ben & Jerry’s will be showing off their newest flavor – Justice ReMix’d, a limited batch flavor with the sweet swirl of justice. Hong Kong waffles with ice cream will be available from Puffle Up. Get locally-sourced, organic cold treats from Seattle Pops. The Donut Factory brings their signature ice cream donut sandwich, while Sweet Alchemy Ice Creamery will roll out their artisanal treats. And if there is anything better than Alexandra’s Macarons it would be Alexandra’s artisanal, small batch ice cream macaron sandwich.
For those 21+, with or without their canine companion in tow, can also step over to the Fremont Oktoberfest, before or after (or both,) filling their faces with ice cream for a beer and plenty to see. The Fremont Oktoberfest goes to the dogs on Sunday, Sep 22nd, but there are also the regular pleasures of watching the Seattle Seahawks triumph on the big screen, participating in Axe Throwing, and sampling one of the 100 seasonal brews on tap. Find out more on the Fremont Oktoberfest website (click here.)
Both events are rain or shine – and worth getting a little damp for such spectacular special events. Find out more about the Fremont Sunday Market Ice Cream Social on the Facebook Events page – or just stop by and stroll the selections!!
