On Wednesday, August 22nd, the Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar will celebrate Rosé wine, with a special tasting from 6p – 8p. August has been hot, hot, hot in Seattle, and Rosé could be your perfect antidote.
This tasting of European Rosé wines from France, Germany and Italy will cost only $5 per person (fee refunded with purchase of three or more bottles.) Wines available for tasting include:
- Olivier Morin/Cremant de Bourgogne from France – traditional method Burgundy bubbles… like a baby champagne
- Mascaronne from France – a highly-rated Southern French beauty minerally but succulent
- Von Buhl/Spatburgunder from Germany – so bone dry, they couldn’t help but put a skull on the label
- Domaine de Noire from France – made from old vine Cabernet Franc with juicy wild strawberry and raspberry
- Val d’Astier from France – a traditional Provence blend, fun and lively, minerally and racy
- Graci from Italy – made from Nerello Mascalese and fermented in concrete vats… elegant!
This is a wonderful opportunity to taste fine Rosé wine, and learn more about this refreshing summer treat. Find out more about ‘Rosé All Day’ on the Barrel Thief website.
