Enjoy Victory Music Day (and the Solstice Parade) at History House

On Saturday, June 18th, the Fremont Arts Council Solstice Parade will roll down the fair streets of Fremont, starting at Noon.  One outstanding place for viewing – for those who have chosen not to be in the parade – will be at History House (790 N 34th.)

For Victory Music will host concerts in the covered sculpture garden courtyard of the museum before and after the parade.  Get a prime spot (the crowd thins as the route moves east…,) set out your chairs, blankets or whatever, then stroll back to History House, and sit in the cool shade to listen to great, local, acoustic musicians.

The concerts take place before and after the Parade, so attendees won’t miss a moment of the Arts Council celebration – or a minute of live music!

Best of all, the Victory Music show is FREE!

Come listen to:

  • Eric Miller (10a – 11a)
  • Down The Road (11a – Noon)
  • Hounds@Bay (2p – 3p)
  • Kayser-Beck Band (3p – 4p)

For those who can’t make it Saturday – or want to enjoy more great, live music – Sunday will continue the Music In The Sculpture Garden concert series at History House, with Burgundy Pearl and Larry Johnson scheduled to perform from 2p – 4p.

The Fremont Fair has plenty to offer this weekend, and History House can serve as a place to kick-back in the midst of the madness, and soak up sterling sounds!
