King County METRO bus service may be interrupted, or re-routed, this Saturday, June 23rd, from 5a until mid-day due to the Rock & Roll Marathon. Bus routes in the Ballard, Magnolia, Queen Anne, South Lake Union, Downtown Seattle, West Seattle, White Center, Columbia City, Rainier Valley, Leschi, Seward Park and southeast Lake Washington may be rerouted or disrupted, and traffic may be detoured or delayed as well.
With more than 40 bus routes affected, the impacts may be felt even by those who do not use METRO transit services. Check the METRO website for reroute information.
