Fall is an excellent time to plant in the Pacific Northwest, particularly trees and shrubs. As temperatures cool, most plants slow their growth and slip into dormancy for the winter. Planting, and transplanting, during this time will not interfere as much in the growth process – and places less stress on the plant and reduces transplant shock.
In celebrating this opportunity, Urban Earth has put all their plants – with the exception of fall veggie starts – on sale for 30% off, for the entire month of September. With new shipments of 11 different cultivars of Japanese Maples expected, this would be an ideal time to stop by and pick out a few items to brighten your fall garden.
