FHS Historic Building Display at Fremont Library

On Saturday, May 14th, from Noon – 1:30p, the Fremont Historical Society will hold its annual reception at the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library System.

This reception will officially kick-off the historic Fremont display, the photos and narratives on several Fremont structures can already be viewed, and will available for the entire month of May.

The display includes information, plus then and now photos, on Wright Bros. Cycle Works, the Fremont Library, the Rafferty Funeral Home/Doric Lodge #92 and the 1921 Substation building next door to Fire Station #9, and currently slated for demolition.
