This weekend is the final opportunity to see the Stone Soup Theatre production of ‘Doubt, A Parable’ by John Patrick Shanley, and directed by Maureen Hawkins.  With just a few performances remain before closing night on March 1st, the time to buy tickets and reserve your seat is now.

“While the play creates questions about faith and transgression, one can be sure that Stone Soup’s show serves some stupendous performances.  Draper’s fourth-wall-smashing sermonizing felt like mass.  Miko’s nuanced and wry delivery induced snickers…” – Alyssa Dyksterhouse, Seattle Weekly

“The excellent production at Stone Soup Theater did the play justice…” – Marie Bonfils, Drama in the Hood

This blunt story, a play that won the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play, is filled with empathy for all sides, and raises fascinatingly nuanced questions about moral certainty.  Performed by the brilliant cast of Maureen Miko (Stone Soup’s Artistic Director), Jaryl Draper, Reagan Dickey, and Eva Abram, ‘Doubt, A Parable’ can be seen Thursday – Saturday, at 8p.  Tickets are available for purchase through the Stone Soup Box Office at (206) 633-1883 or through Brown Paper Tickets.
