VAM Studios and Syncopation Foundation will host the first Yule Ball, at the dance school, on Saturday, December 29th, from 7p – 11p. Doors open at 6:30p, at the VAM Studios School of Dance, for this Swingin’ Speakeasy, a Harry Potter-themed night of swing dance, costumes, music and creativity. The goal is connecting community and sharing in fun!
This Yule Ball is open to all ages, and all dance levels. No partners are need, or any dance experience at all – just bring your desire to dance and learn. The Yule Ball will feature a swing dance class, and guest performers, plus a photo booth, wand making, costume awards, and light refreshments.
VAM Studios’ mission is to inspire and empower people through dance, and to allow them to reach their greatest potential. For the Yule Ball, VAM has partnered with the Syncopation Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to building community through swing dancing. Through weekly social dances, Syncopation Foundation brings together people from all walks of life, to cut loose and dance.
