On Monday, March 23rd, the Fremont Neighborhood Council (FNC) will hold its monthly meeting. All Fremont residents are welcome to attend and get involved in advocating on our neighborhood issues. FNC meetings are held at Doric Lodge #92 starting at 7p.
This month’s meeting will contain a presentation by Daniel Stoner, owner of the blue apartment building that stands at the southeast corner of the intersection of Evanston Ave, N 36th St and Fremont Place, at 3519 Fremont Pl N. Stoner’s company, Parkstone Properties, has submitted a proposal to redevelop this property as a 6-story, with ground-floor retail, apartment building, still with no on-site parking. At the FNC meeting, attendees will be able to ask questions and raise concerns over the development – after hearing details on the plans.
The FNC will also hear from Seattle Subway President Keith Kyle on plans for Sound Transit in North Seattle, and how Seattle Subway may fit in.
In addition, the FNC will conduct routine business including an update on the Fremont Siphon Replacement project, a vote on a new Board Member, sharing information on the upcoming Annual Meeting (on April 27th), and a treasurer’s report.
Please plan to attend this meeting, and learn more about the issues and the opportunities for advocacy that are available to Fremont residents. To learn more, any time, about the FNC, visit the website or join the FNC Facebook page.
