Free Screening of A Locally Made Documentary On The Fremont Troll

On Wednesday, August 1st, at 7p, at Hale’s Palladium, the Fremont community is invited to a special free screening of the documentary ‘The Hall Of Giants’, presented by Anarky Productions.  This feature-length documentary, directed by Michael Falcone, gives the background about the creation and mythology about the fabulous, and much beloved, Fremont Troll sculpture.

This all-ages event (the film contains some adult language,) will also have a cash bar featuring the Hale’s brew open at 6:30p.  The film will roll at 7:15p, and will chronicle, through interviews and hundreds of rare photographs and archival footage, the public art movement in Seattle and the struggle to build this iconic sculpture.

This opening of ‘The Hall of Giants’ marks the directorial debut of Falcone, and he will be in attendance at the screening – along with some of the people responsible for making this artwork possible.  Underwritten by grants from Seattle CityArtists and the Fremont Arts Council, ‘The Hall Of Giants’ film is named for the vista of the Aurora Bridge as seen by the Fremont Troll.
