On June 17th & 18th, the Fremont Street Fair returns for the 45th year, with all its attendant fun and frivolity.
Check out 75+ uniquely decorated cars on-display as part of the Seattle Art Car Blowout, all weekend long. Also, enjoy the art and creativity of performing buskers, set up at random places, with impromptu acts done throughout the Fair.
Keep in mind, the Fremont Arts Council Fremont Solstice Parade is on Saturday, at 1p (with the Solstice Cyclists riding just before it.) The ‘Just Right By Purina’ Costumed Dog Parade (benefitting the Citizens for Off-Leash Areas) takes place on Sunday, at 2:30p.
For live music, check out the Corona Light Main Stage, with musicians such as the Polyrhythmics, Eldridge Gravy & The Court Supreme, and Cascade Crescendo. For a lively mix of solstice celebration tunes, check out Club Sunshine featuring DJ Indica Jones both days on the Casa Noble Stage.
The Fremont Street Fair also features a great selection of food booths, and approximately 300 vendor booths. Fremonsters often get overwhelmed at the vast numbers of people that flow into the Center of the Universe for our incredibly unique and outrageously spectacular weekend. It’s important to remember tho’ – the Fremont Street Fair could only ever happen in Fremont!
