On Sunday, February 7th, the Fremont Arts Council (FAC) will parade through the Fremont Sunday Market starting at 1p – and anyone can be a part of the joyful, creative celebration!

Starting January 29th, the FAC will host public workshops in The Powerhouse to allow everyone to come in, build a float or help others build theirs.  Also, stop by to see what this parade, called Petit Troll, is all about.

Petit Troll will celebrate Mardi Gras, with a procession of miniature floats, about the size of a shoebox.  With the Mighty Tiny Band, costumed participants, and a possible collection of decorated umbrellas (in case of Seattle-ish weather,) this short yet splashy spectacle promises good times for all!  Inspired by the New Orleans ‘tit Rex, this parade welcomes participants of all ages and abilities.
