Fremont Arts Council Gets Ready For A Winter’s Solstice Feast

The Fremont Arts Council welcomes all volunteers to help build the Feast of the Winter Solstice!

On Wednesday, December 21st, the Fremont Arts Council will celebrate the Winter Solstice with a potluck feast and grand installation of art.  They have found a space for this intimate party for 600, near the Mt. Baker Light Rail Station in the Central District.  Now they need volunteers to come together and get the space ready for serving up the Feast of the Winter Solstice!

This annual celebration is for Fremont Arts Council members and their close friends – basically anyone who supports the FAC beliefs in community art.  Many hands make light, and lively, work on the Feast, and volunteers earn their way into the party.  This year, Feast attendees will also be asked to contribute a $35 donation towards rental of the space, and supplies, in addition to their contributions of sweat equity and artistic innovation.
