Fremont Chamber Hosts ‘Breakfast of Shameless Self-Promotion’

Come share! The FCC Shameless Self-Promotion gathering from Nov 2009, at 35th St. Bistro Photo by K. Lindsay

On Wednesday, November 16th, from 8a – 9:30a, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual ‘Breakfast of Shameless Self-Promotion.’  This popular gathering allows everyone – business owners, philanthropists, event organizers, the underemployed, and/or a City of Seattle Mayor – to share information about their passion with others from our community.

Got something to promote?  Come speak your piece!

Held at the Fremont Dock Restaurant – meet new owner Jim O’Keefe – the breakfast meeting features a minute or two for each attendee to give their best ‘elevator speech’ to the entire crowd.  Businesses do distribute coupons, mention special offers and even – once or twice – give out freebies!

Mayor of Seattle, Mike McGinn, has R.S.V.P.d, and intends to promote the 2012 city budget – briefly.  Before and after this, the meeting will give everyone a chance to share, and hear, the rousing stories and shameless self-promotion of fellow Fremonsters.

To attend, R.S.V.P. to the Chamber office at director@fremont.com or call 206/632-1500.  The meeting does cost $15 to attend, and includes breakfast.  Everyone is welcome – Chamber membership is not required nor do attendees need to own/work at a business – so come share!
