On Wednesday, April 20th, at 8a at Giddy Up Burgers & Greens, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce will once again host a panel discussion on safety, on hazards and the best ways to house the homeless.
If you have questions about what our city is doing, as well as the United Way of King County, to keep us safe while tending to the needs of the poorest and most vulnerable, please attend this meeting. If you want to know what is being done about the criminals and vagrants in our parks and on our streets, please bring your concerns and comments to this meeting.
Learn how we can keep our neighborhoods safe to live play, eat and shop, together, at ‘Homeless, Housing & Hazards.’ Hear from the panel of:
- Sarra Tekola & Jesse Perrin of Councilmember Mike O’Brien’s Office
- Officer Joseph Bender, of the Seattle Police Department Community Policing Team
- Joe Hailey & Wayne Wilson of United Way of King County
- David Takami of Seattle Parks & Recreation
Help preserve the safety and business growth going on in Fremont, and its surrounding neighborhoods, by participating in this frank and open discussion. Find out how we can take control and what avenues we can use to address the homelessness, encampments, graffiti, and crime we do encounter.
The meeting fee, which includes a continental breakfast, is $20. RSVP, and ask questions, through the FCC Event Page or at programs@fremont.com
