Fremont Chamber Hosts Navigating Equity 101 Program, & A Survey

The Fremont Chamber is offering this on-line workshop for FREE.

On Wednesday, October 21st, at 9a, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce will host a program on ‘Navigating Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity 101’.  This virtual workshop will be facilitated by Anguida Adams, ALA.

This introduction to Equity, Inclusion & Diversity (EID) will include an interactive conversation, and activities aimed at identifying what is and why entrepreneurs and businesses need to consider EID as part of the bottom line.  Through hands-on learning pick up internal and external approaches businesses can use for more equity, inclusion and diversity.

Led by Adams, of the ALA Consulting Firm, this workshop will face a sometimes uncomfortable conversation through identifying and cultivating the tools to create a healthy dialogue.  ALA Consulting makes problem-solving easy by building a holistic conscious culture with its human-centered approach.

Join this brainstorming of steps our whole community can take to ensure our neighborhood grow to be more diverse, equitable and inclusive.  Join this FREE virtual workshop by registering with the Fremont Chamber (click here.)

The Fremont Chamber is also running a survey on our neighborhood businesses demographics.  Can you help the Chamber help us?

As part of the Fremont Chamber Diversity, Equity and Inclusion effort, this survey will help the organization apply a lens of equity and inclusion to its work – and to better benefit the entire neighborhood.  This survey is eleven questions and could take about two minutes to complete, and although it is not anonymous, all personal information will be kept strictly confidential.  Click here for the link to the survey.

The Fremont Chamber is a 501(c)6 non-profit on a mission to strengthen the business climate and improve the quality of life in the Fremont community.  Find out more at Fremont.com
