On Wednesday, October 24th, at 9a, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Fremont Neighborhood Council, will host a roundtable with representatives from the Seattle Police Department. Held at History House, this gathering is intended as a forum for Fremonsters to discuss issues in our community on crime and prevention.
This FREE and open-to-the-public discussion will deal with issues confronting both business and residential areas of the community. The community organizations hope to encourage a dialogue that can lead to solutions to chronic problems, and identify perhaps unknown challenges.
SPD Officers Loren Street and James Manning, along with Terrie Johnston of the Crime Prevention Unit, are scheduled to appear and listen to concerns – and share their feedback on solutions.
Please consider registering for this meeting to give the organizers an idea of how many people to expect. RSVP on-line, and share what specific concerns you would like address at this meeting.
