Friday, December 2nd to Sunday, December 4th, Fremont Festivus will be celebrated at the Center of the Universe. Come stroll the ‘hood, and its great collection of shops and restaurants, while we see in the season of cookies, community and crass commercialism! Whatever you mark at this time of the year (Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Solstice, or National Chocolate Brownie Day) make part of your party one of the great opportunities going on in Fremont during Festivus!
See a list of all the activities, including a great handicraft sale at Ancient Arts, free workouts at Fremont Health Club and Anytime Fitness, on the Fremont Festivus website on Fremocentrist.com.
The big events start on Friday, Dec 2nd at 5p, when we honor Festivus with the annual lighting of the bronze statue of the dead dictator in Red Triangle, before spreading out for the First Friday Art Walk. The big events continue on Saturday, Dec 3rd, at 4:30p with caroling by Seatown Sound, and at 5p, the Re-Installation of a long-lost Fremont art piece near the Fremont Rocket. Come be the first to see this incredible addition to the Fremont art collection, and meet its artist!
