Fremont Mischief Has Delicious Meals-To-Go Now Available

Every year, January and February are the slowest months for our restaurants and retailers in Fremont – and this year is likely to be the quietest ever.  As all of our (remaining) small businesses struggle to stay alive, it is a great time to do what we can to shop small and local.

One of the greatest retail resources Fremont has is the Mischief Distillery, which offers a wide selection of locally-made (and sourced) spirits.  Last March, Fremont Mischief opened a café inside the Distillery, called Mischief On Canal.  The café has a spacious outdoor dining area, open for families looking for a place to dine out.

Now, those looking for a healthy, crafted meal can get Mischief-On-The-Go!  Chef John’s Mischief Lunchboxes are available for take-out.  Get a choice of smoked tri-tip, pulled pork or jackfruit on a French baguette with creamy horseradish cabbage slaw, Mama’s Lil’ Peppers, house pickles, pickled red onion and house Whiskey BBQ sauce.  Enjoy a mushroom bisque or smoked beef & barley soup, to accompany the sandwich.

It is an important time for everyone who can to support the small, family businesses in our community, if we want to keep them! Photo of Mike Sherlock & Patti Bishop at Fremont Mischief provided by Mischief

Place an order on-line, for pick-up at the Distillery, Wednesdays – Sundays!  Order cocktails-to-go, or anything off the café menu, for take-out – and have a lovely, local meal for yourself or everyone in your household.

Of course, the tented courtyard at Mischief Distillery is open for table service – although reservations are recommended for spacing safety.  Please visit the Fremont Mischief website for more information, cocktail recipes and menus – or click here to go directly to the reservations page!

Shop local, and support our small businesses, this winter to make the coming spring and summer solstice sunnier for our neighbors, and their employees.
