On Monday, January 27th, the Fremont Neighborhood Council (FNC) will hold its monthly meeting from 7p – 8:30p at the Doric Lodge #92. All Fremont neighbors are welcome to attend, and learn more about the business of this organization.
The meeting will include meeting with Brady Walkinshaw, the newly-appointed 43rd Legislative District State Representative, and an update on legislative matters. Also, Seattle Parks & Recreation Department Senior Planner David Graves will give a report on the Gas Works Park soil remediation.

The FNC will also get an update on an effort they’ve been championing – improvements for pedestrian safety at N 43rd St & Fremont Ave N – by Brian Dougherty, Senior Transportation Planner for the Seattle Department of Transportation. There will also be a recap by Ralph & Sarah Weathers of the Fremont MLK Day of Service, an event sponsored in part by the FNC.
The meeting agenda also lists reports from committees, approval of minutes, a treasurer’s report, and discussion of the membership drive. Find out more about membership at the meeting, or renew on-line. Also, find out more about the FNC on its website, or Facebook page – or at the meeting on January 27th.
