On Monday, August 23rd, from 7p – 8:30p, the Fremont Neighborhood Council (FNC) will be meeting to discuss neighborhood issues, and all Fremont residents are welcome to participate. The FNC meetings are currently held on-line making it easier for everyone to be a part of this advocacy organization.
At the August meeting of the FNC, a presentation will be made by Lee Brunch and Bryant Mason on behalf of the Aurora Reimagined Coalition. This group of community organizations is brainstorming ideas about the George Washington Memorial Bridge, and the entire Highway 99 corridor. They are attempting to make the Aurora Corridor better.
The FNC will also follow-up on actions taken by the Duwamish Tribe for recognition. They will also discuss the transition of the FNC to hybrid meetings, in person as well as on-line. Some other items up for discussion are:
- The Hazel Heights P-Patch reimbursement request
- A Green Lake Way North closure update
- An update on maintenance of the 45th Street Mural
- Speakers & Presentations for upcoming meetings
