The Fremont Players and Fremont Philharmonic Orchestra return to Hale’s Palladium for the seasonal fun of traditional British Panto, opening December 8th, and running weekends through January 6th. This time out, the Fremont Players have set their stage for a new, outrageous telling of ‘Puss in Boots.’
Things aren’t going well in the kingdom. There is a hungry ogress who ‘likes’ people, too much. The ogress’ henchman is running a protection racket. The miller’s sons have just lost their father. The king and the princess are fighting. The school marm has hit a bump in her relationship.
But wait! A magical animal, or two, are on their way to help! A clever talking cat, a wise donkey, and an audience eager to join the show with shouts of advice and a hiss and boo for the bad guy (and gal.) The entertaining foolishness and serious silliness of this creative theatrical show – with original music by the Fremont Phil – will bring families and friends together in hilarity!
Tickets for ‘Puss In Boots’ can be purchased in advance on Brown Paper Tickets, or at the door. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $7 for kids and seniors. ‘Puss in Boots’ will run from December 8th – January 6th, on Saturdays & Sundays, with two shows each day.
See the opening show as a ‘pay-what-you-can’ at 7:30p on Saturday, December 8th, and get a discount for all shows on Fremont Festivus weekend (Dec 7th – 9th) by using the code ‘festivus’ when purchasing, on-line or at the box office.
