At the Outdoor Movies on Saturday, July 17, Ryan Reiter confirmed that Fremont successfully recaptured the Guiness World Record for the most zombies at the Red, White & Dead Zombie Walk held July 3, 2010 with 4233 registered zombies.
On July 10, a group in Sacramento tried to take the coveted title away from Fremont – but didn’t succeed. There is talk of another attempt, being organized in England, but for now – Fremont remains the Center of the Zombie Universe.
