On Wednesday, May 30th, the Rotary Club of Fremont held a fundraiser hosted at Fremont Brewing Company, in the family (& dog) friendly Urban Beer Garden.
The evening raised over $2,500 for the Club to spend on its annual philanthropic programs, to be performed here and abroad.
Past efforts have benefitted B.F. Day Elementary School, Ballard Food Bank, Greenwood Elementary School, Operation Night Watch, Rotary First Harvest, Books For The World, Walk For Life, Project Amigo, and a Rotary/Zambia Malaria partnership.
For the fundraiser, and celebration, Fremont Brewing Company tapped the first keg of a special 2012 Fremont Rotary brew.
Attendees also got a one-time-only opportunity to taste a very unique Theo Chocolate cake. With two layers of salted caramel filling, the chocolate cake had a thick coating of ganache all of which pleased party-goers as much as the fellowship – and the beer!
