Fremont’s Own Ben Franklin Circle Will Meet At The Fremont Library

This free, discussion group will start meeting at the Fremont Library at the end of May 2018.
This free, discussion group will start meeting at the Fremont Library at the end of May 2018.

On May 29th, at 6p, the first Ben Franklin Circle will meet at the Fremont Branch Library, to provide Fremonsters, and all Seattlites, with a chance to meet and discuss virtues in the context of civic and world improvement.  Consider joining in the discussion!

There are 70 Ben Franklin Circles now meeting nationwide.  The New Yorker magazine shared an article about one of these groups, in Manhattan, and how it builds community, allowing diverse people to gather and talk about how we can improve ourselves and the world.  At each meeting, one of Franklin’s list of 13 virtues is the focus of the discussion, although it can be part of a larger conversation on current and civic events.

Inspired by a ‘mutual improvement club’ begun among Franklin and some friends, these circles are intended to transform lives, and our world.  Help spark a discussion about who we want to be, and how we want to contribute to the world.  Attend the Ben Franklin Circle at the Fremont Branch Library on May 29th to find out more about these opportunities to improve ourselves face-to-face – and visit the BenFranklinCircles.org website to find out more about the 13 virtues.
