On Monday, January 5th, from 6:30p – 7:45p, hear fresh voices from the local poetry scene during ‘An Evening of Poetry’ presented at the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library, through a partnership with Floating Bridge Press.

The first showcase of 2015, in this quarterly series of poetry readings at the Fremont Library, this evening features Ed Harkness, Ann Pitkin, and Richard Widerkehr.  The poets will read from their works – both published and new – and discuss their poetry with the audience.

The local authors, all published poets with extensive credentials of magazines and books, can all speak to the novice or the experienced poetry reader.  This free event is ideal for those looking for an evening of fine words as well as those looking for inspiration for their own works.
